A pretty village pub with many quirky features

The House Martin in New Milton was so named to reflect the presence of nesting house martins in the area. Indeed Shakespeare describes the house martin as ‘this guest of summer’ and this sums up perfectly the feeling that Hall & Woodhouse would like guests to have.

Steeped in history, with traditional features such as flagstone floors and oak beams, complemented by a barn style dining area adorned with an array of bird cages hanging from the ceiling, the pub is certainly worth a visit.
